Lakers receive more bad injury news on Monday

Guard Gabe Vincent, who started in the Lakers' first three games, sprained his ankle on Sunday and missed Monday's contest against the Portland Trail Blazers. Marcus Smart also didn't play on Monday due to a quad contusion, leaving the team very short-handed in its 122-108 loss.
