Detroit Tigers lost 3-2 to Seattle Mariners in Game 2 of the ALDS, tying up the series at 1-1. Here are highlights from the game in MLB playoffs.

Carlos Vargas came in to pitch the 11th for the Mariners, issuing a leadoff walk to Spencer Torkelson and then followed with a wild pitch to put the go-ahead run in scoring position. Vargas struck out Winceel Perez and Dillon Dinger, but Zach McKinstry hit a two-out RBI single to plate Torkelson and give Detroit the lead.

The New York Yankees stayed alive against the Boston Red Sox with a 4-3 win in Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series.

Center fielder Sal Frelick leapt and touched the ball with his glove before it hit the outfield wall. The ball bounced off his glove and then ricocheted off the wall, back into his glove as he landed on the warning track.
