Mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani on Friday accused ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo and his other opponents of stoking Islamophobia — after fielding repeated attacks branding him antisemitic over his anti-Israel views

The "Real Time" host also said Zohran Mamdani was born in a country "where they kill homosexuals" and brought up the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

“I’d go half-and-half,” Cuomo said, trying to appeal to both sides. Laughter erupted inside the room as Mamdani and Curtis Sliwa, the republican nominee in the debate, both threw their hands up.

While some critics decry Zhoaran Mamdani's vision for New York City as far-fetched, experts noted they build off progressive foundations laid by past policies.
